Met up with Emmanuel and went to Chapultepec, old castle that is located at top of the hill, see the 360 degree view of the ciuded de Mexico.
When we arrived we were told that there is an event therefore many rooms are closed to the public. Despite limitation we moved forward.
I was having a great time checking out the castle and hearing about history. As I were making jokes to go to restricted Area I question why there were do many ppl with suit everywhere. It turns out that president of Mexico and president of Dominican republic were meeting there to discuss politics of energy, environment and commerce. I was so so excited and really wanted to meet the president, take pictures and shake hand.
There were serious security guards, metal detector, armies everywhere, . President showed up In a black SUV but went around the back. His name is Philips Calderon. There were many other suits both men and women, who all has serious face, I was able to strike a conversation with two official suits who works directly with Dominican president. Made friends with female army for us to find each other on fb. Chatting about my fancy iPhone and showing then pictures. Swiping, smooth video and my translator app. I was called out many times for taking pictures of Things and ppl I'm not supposed to and crossing lines but I got away with smile and tourist badge(metaphor) and my soft translator friend Emmanuel.
I met some famous mariachi and best in the world folklorico ballet dancers. One particular that I carried long conversation with Catiana Sanchez, told me to come back at 8pm for the performAnce. Price of $600 pesos. Emmanuel said "caro" she sAid "give my name and you get 80% discount"
Later I checked out on YouTube but didn't go. I am attracted to dancers. Athletic ppl.

I joked around with army guys and later I was able to take a picture with General. He was serious s d wouldn't smile but I got him to life his hand to do peace v sign with hand, Asian style :)
It was far better day than I expected it to be. Emmanuel and i left after we saw all the VIP s tAke off.
Went to Zona Rosa, had pazole, found wifi and checked in all the places I went.
Said farewell to Emmanuel, went to Liz flat, I made vegetarian dinner for her and she liked it.
We drank a lots of wine, talked for hours until we both were sleepy 2am. and couldn't talk anymore. We talked about other travelers, our view about the world, comparison between west and east of united states, little but about mushroom, her experience in Seattle and Portland. Sexuality, attachment, sex, beer, wine, cooking. She is a interesting person.
I hella iced and stretched but my ankle is still sore and legs are still tight, continue to bring knee pain. It's been over a week since marathon and I'm getting concerned about my knees.
I really want to go to Teotihuacan, but don't want to make my ankle any worse.
Debating whether I will stay in Mexico city till dec 17th to go on butterfly park camping trip with CS group. This will get in the way from meeting up with Ilan for holidays.
He is lonely and afraid that no one will love him like Kayla. I feel Like I should be there for him.
